The #1 Reason Why You're Having Heavy Periods...

Is your cycle heavy?

If so.. What does it all mean?

A cycle is considered heavy if:

  • You have to change your pad or tampon more than once per hour…

  • Bleeding through a tampon or pad during that time

  • Heavy bleeding that lasts for more than 2 days

  • Having large gushes of blood

  • Clots

So many women that I talk to feel that their periods have always been heavy, so that’s just the “norm” for them…

Or their whole family has had heavy periods, so it’s brushed off as “okay”...

Or their doctor has told them that the only way to resolve it is to get on birth control…

But the reality is, a heavy cycle means 1 thing:

#1: Too much toxic estrogen in your blood stream caused by poor liver detox.

I know...

You might be as confused as I was when I first learned this information.

But really, your liver is the driver of your hormone health, and if you're having a heavy period, then that is your body's way of waving the white flag and saying "help a sister out!"

Trying to regulate your heavy periods with birth control might temporarily slow down your bleeding, but because birth control also impacts the liver's ability to metabolize hormones, typically we will see a rebound of heavier periods even while on the pill or IUD.

Would you describe your cycle as heavy?

If so, join us for our upcoming Love Your Liver Workshop on April 11th at 10am PST! Even if you can’t make the live recording, you get access to the replay and the Liver Nourishing Protocol for optimal hormone support!

To your wellness,
